Freezing temperature, patchy fog possible tonight

Freezing temperature, patchy fog possible tonight
the folks up. Chief Meteorologist RB by either 40 29 tv dot com Forecast on this Thursday, October the 29th and here comes the sun do do do do at least as we go into Friday. Anyway, we're looking at Ah, lot of sunshine as we go into the weekend, and hopefully, if you do hear that song again, it's from somebody who can actually sing. Now. Tonight it's gonna get cold, clear skies. Temperatures drop into freezing, if not below freezing across the area. Those those clearing skies and with an area of high pressure coming in as cools it has been. Temperatures should drop pretty quickly. And so we're looking by 10 p.m. Already in the thirties, more than likely in northwest Arkansas and upper thirties and low forties across the River Valley. And by Friday morning, waking up to temperatures right around freezing in northwest Arkansas, if not below freezing, probably a few upper twenties out there near freezing, in some cases, maybe a little below freezing in rural, low lying areas of the river valley. Um, if not a little bit above freezing, so I think at least a frost in the river Valley, if not a few patchy areas of freeze in northwest Arkansas. I think widespread freezing and below temperatures waking up Friday morning could also be dealing with some fog. And that's that's kind of tricky, because if the fog develops and temperatures maybe don't get as cold. But if if the fog develops at the exact right point Friday morning in northwest Arkansas in particular, you could have freezing fog, at least in patchy circumstances, which could cause problems on the roads. We'll see. I wouldn't expect too many problems because the road temperatures they're gonna be really fairly above freezing even as temperatures drop tonight. The only concern is there might be some slick bridges somewhere those cool off a little bit faster. I wouldn't say that will be a widespread issue more than likely in the morning, but it is a possible concern. So if you see that fog develop, you wanna slow down anyway because visibility is gonna drop, but especially around bridges. Watch out, particularly northwest Arkansas. We'll see if that fog actually develops or not. But the possibility either way cold for us tonight. As we wake up on Friday morning, we go to Friday afternoon. Gorgeous sunshine again, a lot of sun as we go into the start of the weekend and high temperatures in the low sixties gonna be great for Friday and then Friday night. Another chilly one, I think. Low low temperatures actually ranging from mid thirties, toe low forties across the area. So, um, temperatures. Ah, wide range there Saturday morning. Not as cold as it will be tonight, but still chilly Saturday morning and as we go to Saturday afternoon, high temperatures low to mid sixties. More sunshine. Another beautiful day for Halloween. A little bit on the breezy side at times on Saturday, but otherwise just gorgeous again for Halloween. Great weather for trick or treating their Saturday evening on. But look ah lot to look forward to this weekend. However, however, as we go into the end of the weekend, got another cold front coming in. We'll tell you more about that next cold front coming in Saturday night, how it could affect our weather this weekend and into early next week. That's all coming up tonight at five PM, six PM and 10 PM on 40 29 of course, at nine PM on CNN
